hi! i’m sophie bucker. i study mathematics and economics at uc berkeley. i intend to pursue graduate studies in economics or applied mathematics.

i maintain interests in biophysics and mathematical biology, glaciology and atmospheric science, emerging defense and dual use technologies, and agricultural and resource economics. i also blog sometimes–keep an eye out for posts starting mid december 2025.
