Hi. I lowkey don’t want to post weekly because I am usually swamped with work and my eyes simply hurt too much to stare even longer at the computer lol.

Books

I started Infinite Jest and I really really like it thus far. Thank you to Harry for finally getting me to do it.

I am also hunting down a copy of Seeing like a State by James C. Scott so this should be fun.

Economic reading of the week? do I even say week?

Lol i read so much econ stuff every week it’s not even worth doing. But I really liked this CEPR article on how Fed communications can keep inflation expectations anchored–and how central bankers must master communicating monetary policy to the broader public! In particular, economists have to drill it into folks that yes, inflation can rise, but also, the central bank is aware and reacting accordingly.

OK maybe next week will be better.
